Beach House Dining Room Roundup

When you think of beach house dining room decor do think calm, cool and breezy? Eclectic? Fun and colourful?

I love several different looks for a cottage. Narrowing down a look can be hard for me.

I’m in love with so many styles and am very inspired by some of these gorgeous rooms. It’s hard to narrow down just one look. Does that ever happen to you?

Working with existing furniture and with the power of paint you can re love and easily update your beach house dining room area and look.

Picking styles is a little harder. I was once told by my sweet friend and uber talented interior designer Shawn from The Designers Den to look at the rooms you have pinned on Pinterest, then go through and see which ones speaks to you, keep only those ones, then look at each one and ask yourself “what is it you love about this space?” once I did this and realized it was the pop of large leafy greens I loved about several pinned rooms…it was an awaking for me to really dissect a room.  How does the room make you feel? Sometimes I have to remind myself that although I love a room and would love to visit and stay in such a space, its not suiting to my everyday lifestyle.

Decorating a beach house can be so much fun, we really enjoyed decorating our cottage by the sea, find your style, use what you have – just paint it up, add accessories and you are done!
