East Coast Christmas Home Tour – Little Blue House By The Bay

East Coast Bloggers Christmas Home Tour

Welcome!

Thank you all for the kind words on my Christmas House Tour, I was a little overwhelmed at the emails I received and comments and visits at the shop. Thank you. If you missed it you can see it here.

I’m so excited to have Colette from Little Blue House by the Bay join us today to show us her home. Colette, from Northern NB, is an amazing art teacher by day,  fabulous Miss Mustard Seed Milk Painter and blogger by night, has been featured numerous times on the Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint Blog and is now a featured blogger for Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint Blog! She is also a writer for Wicker Emporium and a few other fabulous blogs. Head over and visit her site soon.  You are in for a treat folks, she is a beautiful stylist and photographer to boot, and she sets a mean table, I can tell you from experience as I’ve been fortunate to have dinner at her lovely table. Enjoy…

Grab a cup of coffee, settle in on the sofa and stay a while. I’d love to show you how I decorated my home on a next to nothing budget. Some decorations are ones I’ve had for years, others are Dollar Store decorations and a lot are homemade.

My biggest splurge was my Girliture Joy pillow that I absolutely adore and am so happy that I treated myself to.

I also bought the most luxurious red throw blanket at Homesense. It’s dreamy and I’m thinking of leaving it out all year and incorporating more red into my décor because of it.

You will notice pops of red throughout the tour as I made it my stand out color this year. Because I have a lot of painted furniture, I wanted to use a color that would go with all the colors that I have going on around the house.
