I love Chip and Joanna Gains. For real. Big heart love. Fixer Upper Style is becoming a “thing” y’all.
I dig how the spread joy not drama, how they love their family and kiddos, that they are ok with talking about their religion, how how they work so well together, Mr. FPM and I work 3 businesses together, honestly, it’s not always easy to be together 24/7 but we like each other so its good, but truth, if Mr. FPM did half the things Chip does, I’d bob him in the nose. For real. ;) Of course I love how freaking awesome Jo’s brain is at putting a house together. I’m sure its not all sunshine and roses all the time, but I like how they spread joy not drama.
Sometimes we fancy ourselves like Chip and Joanna. We love to re love homes too and have 2 fixer uppers.  But with no team, no budget and no cool design style like Jo ha ha.
I made this little meme for my Facebook page weeks ago. Boy, did I get a lot of love for it. Apparently y’all love them as much as I do. (I should note here, I’m not political or bashing Trump, I’m not an American, nor  bashing The Kardashians, its just a comment on the joy Chip and Joanna bring to people, and the no drama thing, simple pleasures, thats all, no need to send me hate mail)

As someone who loves old, chippy, up cycled and re loved pieces. Joanna and I could be BFF’s I think.
For real, how cool would that be?
I love the clean, simple style, with warm woods and reclaimed pieces and soft colours.
I love she uses painted signs and chalkboards everywhere! We love to use and make them too!
As a shop owner her Magnolia Market and The Silos make me swoon. For real. I have been know to gasp when I see some of her displays. (If you are ever in Anthropology or Pottery Barn with me you will know that gasp) I have a trip there on my bucket list.
Anyone want to come with me?

I, too, love the show and most of what they do. Imagine, my husband found himself in Waco, Texas two weeks ago with work and did NOT go to the silos! And he likes the show too.
I want to let you know that I follow a lot of bloggers & love decorating & redesigning my small fixer upper. I love your style & it’s a lot like mine. I only have Netflix but fixer upper is on Netflix but only season one. I do love her style.
