Tricycle Milk Painted Painted Dresser

I have always wanted to paint a dresser with Miss Mustard Seed’s Tricycle Milk Paint.

When I found this sweet solid wood dresser I knew what colour it was going to be.

I was inspired by this dresser by Miss Mustard Seed.

I didn’t have a beautiful Empire dresser,  I did have a sweet simple solid wood one that I thought would look great with this colour.

I wanted to have a dark undertone come through, so it was given a coat of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Curio, then 2 coats of Tricycle .  Using a resist method, I then distressed down to the Curio, and to the original wood in spots. She (I decided she is a she, doesn’t she look like a she?) was finished with Miss Mustard Seed’s Hemp Oil as a top coat.  I love how this sweet piece came out.
